Copyright Policy

Palixia supports independent writers and creators sharing their work. It is operated as a registered private limited company in Nigeria. Authors retain ownership of their original stories, books, text, artwork and covers. Publishing on Palixia does not, by itself, transfer ownership to Palixia. When content is published, the author grants Palixia only the limited platform licence described in the Terms of Service.
Before publishing
Publish only work you created or have permission and the necessary rights to use. This applies to written work, translations, illustrations, photographs, covers, excerpts and promotional material. Do not upload another person's work and present it as your own, or use copyrighted material in a way that infringes the rights holder's rights.
Report a copyright concern
If you believe content on Palixia infringes your copyright or rights you are authorised to protect, email info@palixia.com with the subject “Copyright Report”. Include:
- Your name and a reliable email address or other contact method.
- A description of the copyrighted work or rights you believe are affected.
- The URL or clear identification of the Palixia content you are reporting.
- An explanation of why you believe the use is unauthorised.
- A statement that the information in your report is accurate and that you are the rights holder or authorised to act for the rights holder.
Please provide enough detail for us to locate and assess the material. Do not include unnecessary sensitive personal information.
Review and response
We will review a sufficiently detailed report and may contact you for further information. Where appropriate, we may temporarily restrict access to the reported material while we assess the concern, remove or disable access to material that appears to infringe rights, and notify the account holder who posted it. A report does not automatically establish infringement, and we may consider relevant information from the person who uploaded the content before deciding what further action is appropriate.
If your content has been restricted because of a copyright report and you believe this was a mistake, reply to the notice you receive or contact info@palixia.com with the relevant link, an explanation and information showing that you own the rights or have permission to use the material. We will review the response. Repeated or serious infringement may result in content restrictions or account suspension.
